– The brewing process takes lon-
ger than usual .
– The appliance switches off be-
fore the water tank is empty .
Two steps are necessary for tho-
rough descaling .
Step 1
1 . Remove the milk tube (22) from
the coffee and milk outlet (5) .
2 . Fill the water tank (11) up to the
max . mark and pour the desca-
ler into the water tank .
3 . Insert the water tank and con-
nect the appliance to the power
supply .
4 . Place an empty container un-
der the coffee outlet .
The container must be large
enough to collect all the water
from the water tank .
5 . Press and hold the buttons
(13) and
(18) until the appli-
ance emits 2 beeps .

6 . Press the
button to start
descaling .

runs until the water tank (11)
and the es-
flash on the

Cleaning and care
is empty . This takes about 30
minutes .
When the water tank is empty,
the display

Carry out Step 2 promptly, other-
wise the appliance could switch
off .
Step 2
1 . Remove the water tank (11)
and rinse it out thoroughly .
2 . Empty the drip tray and place it
back under the Coffee and milk
outlet (5) .
3 . Fill the water tank with clear
water up to the max . mark and
reinsert it into the appliance .
Descaling and cleaning will
now start again automatically .
When the process is complete,
the appliance switches off auto-
matically .
• Rinse the water tank again tho-
roughly with clear water .
