Safety
■ Do not operate the applian-
ce with an external timer or
a separate remote control
system.
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
The coffee spout becomes
very hot during milk frothing,
hot water preparation and
coffee preparation! The cof-
fee spout may still be hot
even after switching off!
■ Do not touch the coffee
spout during operation and
do not reach underneath it.
■ Only clean the applian-
ce when it is switched off
and has cooled down.
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Hot steam escapes when the
coffee machine is in use. Con-
tact with the hot steam can
lead to scalding.
■ Avoid any direct contact
with hot steam or water.
■ During the rinsing process
after switching on, hot wa-
ter runs out of the coffee
spout into the drip tray be-
low. Make sure that you do
not come into contact with
splashes of water.
■ Only make hot water/milk
foam when a container is
placed under the coffee
spout.
■ Do not heat flammable li-
quids with steam.
■ Do not open the coffee
grounds container during
operation.
■ Handle hot beverages with
care.
■ Hot, acidic water escapes
from the coffee spout du-
ring descaling. Avoid any
contact with the hot water
and the coffee spout during
the descaling process.
