Parts named (sample presentation)
The MiniCODER is attached to the mounting fixture with two screws via the mounting
flange (5). The two guide noses (4) on the rear of the MiniCODER ensure that the
MiniCODER is positioned exactly. For easy installation, a non-ferromagnetic
distance gauge (6) of the appropriate thickness is included in the scope of supply
(thickness depends on the module).
The sensitive sensor elements (2) are under the measuring surface (1).
The integrated electronics are powered via the connection cable (3).
The MiniCODER has a magnetic field that is changed by the rotating target wheel.
The sensor detects the magnetic field change and the integrated electronics convert
this into corresponding output signals. The output signals are forwarded to the sepa-
rate evaluation electronics via the connection cable.
Separate evaluation electronics are required to supply the MiniCODER with power,
evaluate the signals and set up the control loop.
