Correct use
MiniCODERs are intended exclusively for measuring tasks in industrial and commer-
cial sectors. MiniCODERs are intended for contactless measurement of rotational or
linear movements mainly in machines, gear units, motors or high-speed spindles.
They can be used to detect positions, angles or speeds. They must be installed in a
machine/system and require connection to special evaluation electronics, which are
included in a rotational speed control or positioning control system, for example.
The MiniCODERs may only be operated if the following conditions are met:

These operating instructions and all reference documents must be observed.

The technical data and connection conditions must be observed.
●
The MiniCODER and machine/system must meet the technical requirements at
the place of use as well as any applicable laws, regulations, directives and stan-
dards.
The MiniCODERs are intended exclusively for use with the following Mitsubishi
higher level control systems:
