Possible hazards
The product corresponds to the state of the art and accepted safety rules. As far as
possible, hazard sources were eliminated by design or secured by suitable equip-
ment. However, certain hazards may arise.
2.4.1
Hazards to persons
Risk of injury due to magnetic field.
The product measuring surface has a permanent magnet. This magnet
creates a magnetic field, which also exists when the sensor is in de-en-
ergized condition.
The magnetic field can have serious negative health effects on persons
with implants or on pregnant persons.
●
Ensure that there is at least 30 cm spacing from the product.
Risk of injury due to magnetic field.
The magnetic field can attract ferromagnetic objects. Keep fingers or
skin outside the feed area to avoid crushing and minor skin injuries.

Exercise caution when approaching the product to metallic objects.
●
Hold the product in such a way as to avoid crushing of fingers or
skin.
