Welding polarities
Please always observe the correct welding polarities for the respective welding process
before starting to weld. Also ensure that the cables are firmly seated in the sockets of the
unit so that the welding current can flow without interference.
This is a schematic representation. The "torch" cable corresponds to the pole reversal
cable (12). The cable in the sockets here corresponds to the earth cable. It is reversed
from minus to plus during flux-cored operation.
MAG welding
Prepare the unit for welding
The unit is equipped with a detachable MAG torch type MB 150. Decide which material you
want to weld. The unit has a 0.6/0.8 mm feed roller installed. Depending on the welding
wire thickness, insert the guide roller (16) on the wire feed motor (15) around accordingly.
The roller is fixed with a cap which is easily tightened by hand. Welding wire rolls for other
wire diameters are available as accessories.
Take a welding wire roll and insert it into the machine in such a way that the wire to be
unwound points from the back to the front towards the wire feed at the bottom. Fasten
the wire roll with the help of the large union nut as shown in the illustration.
