replacement value at the time of the guarantee case, but on the value at the time of the
purchase.
9. Exclusion of further claims, in particular for damages.
There shall be no further claims under the warranty. In particular, there shall be no claims
for damages and in particular no claims for compensation for consequential damages.
10. Duration and commencement of the warranty.
The warranty period is five years and begins with receipt of the goods. Example: Receipt of
the goods on 30.11.2020. Start of the warranty period: 30.11.2020. End of the warranty
period: 29.11.2025.
11. relation to legal claims.
The warranty is in addition to the statutory claims for defects. These are not limited by
the warranty in any way.
12. assertion.
The guarantee is to be asserted by sending the repair request in text form to HuW24 e.K.
and by sending the device to HuW24 e.K.. To keep the warranty period (= end of the
warranty period, see above point 10) the receipt of the repair request in text form within
the warranty period is sufficient if the goods are subsequently sent to HuW24 e.K. within
one week after the end of the warranty period.
13 Shipping costs.
The shipping costs to HuW24 e.K. are borne by the customer. The costs of the return from
HuW24 e.K. to the customer bears HuW24 e.K.
If the domicile of the buyer at the time of the warranty claim differs from the time of
purchase, and the domicile at the time of the warranty claim is not in a member state of
the European Union, Norway or Switzerland, HuW24 e.K. bears only the costs of return,
which would arise if a return to the domicile of the buyer at the time of the conclusion of
the purchase contract. Because of the additional costs HuW24 e.K. can make the return
dependent on the previous reimbursement by the buyer.
14 Exclusion of warranty.
The warranty is excluded if the defect is caused by improper handling of the device. The
warranty is excluded in particular if the defect is due to the fact that the customer has not
followed the instructions for use or has carried out unauthorized repair work inside the
device. The warranty is also excluded if the defect was caused by an event that occurred
accidentally from the outside.
