DRIVING, REVERSING, STEERING
Reversing the direction of travel
- Move the traction control lever (1) from the forward
position (2) backward in the opposite direction (3).
- The truck will be brought to a stop and accelerated in
the opposite direction of travel.
NOTE
The traction control lever can be switched directly from
forward to reverse travel.
All controls, except the steering, can be duplicated op-
posite the instrument panel. This allows optimum opera-
tion in both directions.
Travel in the reverse direction
- Press and hold down traction control lever (6).
- The green indicator (4) will light up to indicate ser-
vices are available.
- Move the traction control lever (6) gently backward
within the preset time.
- The speed of the truck depends on the position of the
control lever.
NOTE
Releasing the dead man's pedal (7) will stop the truck at
once.
Outside aisles without guideline control, the truck will be
stopped automatically if the lift height exceeds 500 mm,
or it will be slowed down".

Inversion du sens de marche
- Basculer le levier multifonctions (1) de la position
ccmarche avant" (2) sur la position marche arriere (3).
- Le chariot freine, puis accelere en sens inverse.
REMARQUE
Le levier multifonctions peut directement etre basule de
marche avant en marche arriere.
Mis apart la direction, tous les elements de commande
peuvent etre disposes des deux cötes de la cabine. La
commande dans les deux directions est optimale.
Marche arriere
- Enfoncer le levier multifonctions 6).
- Le voyant d'autorisation vert (4) s'allume .
- Positionner le levier (6) pendant la periode de deblo-
cage sur ccmarche arriere".
- La vitesse du chariot est fonction de la position du
levier.
REMARQUE
Si la pedale "homme mort" (7) est relachee, le chariot
s'arrete aussitöt.
Le chariot est egalement stoppe ou ralenti si celui-ci est
conduit en dehors d'un couloir avec son mat leve de plus
de 500 mm*.

OPERATION
Steering outside narrow aisles
- Set switch (5) to manual control.
Manual steering is now available.
- Depress the dead man's pedal (7).
- The yellow indicator (3) will light up.
- Move the traction controllever (6) in the desired direc-
tion of travel within the preset period.
- With the steering wheel (1) the truck can be steered to
the left and right.
- The direction of travel can be monitored with the
steering indicator (2).
NOTE
The two direction indicators (8, 9) can be used to find the
steering direction after leaving the guidance wire.
- A steering lock of up to 90° in both directions is pos-
sible.
UTILISATION
Direction en dehors du couloir etroit
- Positionner le commutateur (5) sur manuel.
La direction manuelle est liberee.
- Enfoncer le poussoir cchomme mort" (7).

Le voyant jaune (3) s'allume.
- Positionner, pendant la periode de deblocage, le
levier multi-fonctions (6) dans la direction choisie.
- Le chariot peut etre dirige sur la droite ou sur la gau-
che en fonction de la position du volant (1).
- La position de la direction peut etre contrölee au
moyen de I'indicateur (2).
REMARQUE
Les indicateurs de direction (8, 9) indiquent la direction
apres avoir quitte le fil directeur.
- L'angle de braquage est de 90° dans les deux direc-
tions.
