Daily pre-operational checks and servicing
Checking the horn
- Operate the horn button (5) on the right-hand side of
the instrument panel.
Checking the lighting*
- Operate the light switch (3) on the instrument panel.
If the cab dome light· and the work light· iIIuminate,
the lighting system is in order.
_. NOTE
The dome light can be turned on at the lamp.

Checking the key switch
- Turn the key switch (4) clockwise for ON. The key can-
not be removed in this position.
- Check for ease of operation.
Checking the steering
- Turn the steering wheel (1) in both directions.
NOTE
If the steering wheel moves without too much play,
- the steering and steering chain are in order .

Contröle de I'avertisseur sonore
-- Appuyer sur le bouton de klaxon (5) situe ä droite du
tableau de commande.
Contröle de I'eclairage*
- Actionner la commande de I'eelairage (3) situee sur le
pupitre de eommande.
La lampe d'eclairage de la eabine situee dans le toit
de protection et le phare de travail s'allument.
l'eclairage est en bon etat.
REMAROUE
11 est possible d'allumer separement I'eclairage de la
eabine au moyen de I'interrupteur situe pres de la lampe .

Contröle du contact

- Tourner la eie de eontaet (4) dans le sens des aiguilles
d'une montre sur la position cceonduite». La eie ne
peut pas etre retiree dans eette position.
- Contröler la libre rotation de la cle.
Contröle de la direction
- Tourner le volant (1) dans les deux direetions.
REMAROUE
Le volant doit tourner sans jeu important.
- La direetion et les ehaines sont en bon etat.
OPERATION
Checking the steering indicator (2)
- Turn the steering wheel.
The position of the steered wheel relative to the truck is
indicated by iIIuminated diodes (6) in the steering in-
dicator.
If the indication follows the actual steering movement,
the steering indicator is in proper working order.
MISE EN SERVICE
Contröle de 1 'indicateur de direction (2)
- Tourner la direetion.
La position actuelle de la direetion est affichee par
diodes lumineseentes (6).
Si I'affichage correspond

la direetion reelle, I'indiea-
teur de direetion est en bon etat.
