RULES
The responsible persons, particularly the truck operators
and servicing personn'el, mus! be instructed in the safety
guidelines for the normal and proper use of industrial
trucks supplied with these operating instructions.
Please observe the guidelines and safety rules therein for:

the operation of industr!al trucks,
-
roadways and work areas,
-
the operator (rights, duties and rules of behaviour),
-
furt her applications,
-
various types of drives,
-
servicing (maintenance and inspection),
-
the annual accident prevention check.
The operator (owner) or responsible person must ensure
that the above guidelines and safety rules are observed.
The depicted safety instructions must be strictly followed
in case of a tip-over during an unauthorized application
due to improper operation.

When familiarizing a trained operator with the truck
following VBG 12 b, acquaint him wHh the

special operating characteristics.
Practice travel, control and steering operations until they
are completely mastered.
The stabiiity of the truck in the work area is assured if it is
employed properly.
Accident prevention check
The accident prevention rules prescribe that tbe industrial
truck must be checked at least once a year for pi"oper
working condition by trained personnel. Please contact
your authorizeddealer in this regard.
Running-in instructions
The industrial truck can be operated at tull speed directly.
Avoid sustained high loads in the first 50 hours of
operation.
Ouring initial operation after 50 service !lours and after
each wheel change, tighten \vheel nuts daily prior to star-
ting operation until they are seated firmly, Le. until no 1ur-
ther tighteni!'g is possible.
Wheel nuts should be tightened crosswise to the torque
specified in the manual.
