 Turn the pilot arm continuously in a clockwise manner by using the black cylinder handle.
 Watch the peel formation. The peel should be continuous.
 Reduce your working speed before you reach the end of the pipe.
 Continue turning the pilot arm until the peeling blade has reached the end of the pipe. Der

 When the peeling blade runs freely, the tool can be removed. Loosen the star knob (1) by
turning it counterclockwise. Bring the pilot arm all the way up (2). Then turn the star knob (1)
clockwise to fix the pilot arm in place. Hold the tool by the expander support (4) and turn the
handle (3) counterclockwise to close the scissor mechanism.
ROSCRAPER 400:
Unlocking the pilot arm:
 Press and hold the catch (1) and move the pilot arm approx. 1.5 cm in direction (2). This will
unlock the pilot arm (!).
 The pilot arm can now be moved freely (3) without actuating the tensioning mechanism.
Lowering the pilot arm:
 Lower the pilot arm and press the peeling blade against the pipe surface.
Peeling:
 Turn the pilot arm continuously in a clockwise manner by using the black cylinder handle.
 Watch the peel formation. The peel should be continuous.
