Possible Reason
There are scratches in the
pipe surface

can lead to an incorrect

Solution
Check the pipe surface. Observe the
valid standards in force and pro-
cessing guidelines of the pipe manu-
facturer
Make sure that the pipe surface is
clean and dry
Use suitable rounding tools to re-
move the ovality
Read this instruction manual. Ob-
serve the tension force indicator
Check the mechanical system of the
blade holder. The blade holder must
be able to be pushed in without
blocking. CAUTION! RISK OF CUT-
TING INJURIES!
Echange the peeling blade
The peel can get compressed during
peeling, especially when peeling
with a drive. This will increase the
peel thickness. However, the re-
moved pipe material is less. There-
fore, measure the pipe before and
after peeling. Then you have an
exact indication of the amount of
removed material
Read this instruction manual. Ob-
serve the tension force indicator
Check whether a peeling blade with
the PES2 or PES3 marking is used
on your Pipe End Peeler. The Pipe
End Peelers are not compatible with
the RST peeling blades for Rota-
tional Peeling Tools
Make sure that you only use original
peeling blades from ROTHEN-
BERGER Werkzeuge GmbH. The
Pipe End Peelers are not compatible
with peeling blades of other manu-
facturers
