 Turn the pilot arm with the cylinder handle counterclockwise to close the scissor mechanism.

Care and Maintenance

The product, its components and accessories must be handled with care and maintained regu-
larly in order to achieve the best possible work result.
Maintenance cycles for safe operation:
Please note that the product is a technically demanding machine for field application. In accord-
ance with the product-specific applicable standards and regulations in your country (eg DGUV
V3), this must be regularly checked and maintained. The maintenance interval is 12 months,
with heavy use shorter intervals are recommended.
Avoidable damage often occurs due to increased mechanical abrasion by sand and dirt on the
threaded spindle. Never work with extreme force. It is a precision tool!
Regular cleaning, checks and maintenance of the maintenance cycle can avoid this.
Each working day: Cleaning of the product after completion of the work and removal of dirt,
especially in the area of the threaded spindle. Check mechanics for function.
Annual: Maintenance by the manufacturer or an authorized service station.
Measures after maintenance or servicing:
After maintenance or servicing, be sure to inspect all safety features of the product and to en-
sure that the product functions properly and safely. Do not work with the product without prior
checking.
Cleaning:
Damage due to incorrect cleaning! Use a damp cloth for cleaning. Do not use any aggressive
cleaners and avoid the penetration of cleaning fluid into the drive or the mechanics.
