Dangers during individual work phases
Dangers during transport and assembly:
Transport:
During loading and transport, only auxiliary tools such as lifting devices, load suspension devic-
es and transport vehicles may be used which have sufficient carrying capacity and stability.
When transporting, observe all mandatory safety measures and, if required, use the appropriate
protective equipment.
Installation/ removal:
The installation/ removal of the components may only be carried out by trained personnel who
have read and understood all parts of the documentation. The assembly must be performed by
at least two people.
Risk of cutting injuries on sharp edges! In case of carelessness or improper use, the
very sharp peeling blade can lead to cutting injuries!
Avoid touching the cutting edge of the peeling blade.
Pay attention to the sharp edge when handling.
Wear suitable protective gloves when handling.
Dangers during operation:
The operator must have been instructed by the operator in the handling of the tool. Working with
the tool without prior instruction is prohibited. The proof obligation lies with the operator.
Only use the tool according to its intended use. Activities that impair safety are to be avoided.
Injury due to improper / unintended operation! Incorrect or unintentional operation of the
tool can lead to injury and / or property damage.
Before using the tool, check that all components are free from damage.
Check all safety devices for damage before operation.
Never operate the tool if it has any damage, protective devices are defective or missing.

Device specific dangers
Risk of entanglement:
Danger of entaglement by the rotating pilot arm! In the event of carelessness or im-
proper use, the pilot arm can catch objects, jewellery, long hair or clothing as it rotates
during operation. This can lead to serious injuries, broken bones or property damage.
Avoid touching the rotating parts of the tool.
If necessary, wear a hairnet or tie long hair together.
Do not wear jewellery.
Keep foreign objects away from the rotating parts.
Wear tight-fitting clothing.
Cover long hair with hairnet or cap! The tying of long hair or the wearing of a hair net or a cap
prevents the danger of catching by rotating parts.
