6. Maintenance and cleaning
6.1 Function test
Regularly check the technical safety of the product, e.g. damage to the housing.
If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the product must be taken out
of service and secured against unintentional operation.

Please note:
The product is maintenance-free for you. There are no components inside the
product for you to check or maintain - never open it.
6.2 Cleaning
Clean the product with a clean, dry cloth. For heavier soiling, the cloth can be lightly
moistened with lukewarm water.
Make sure that no liquids get into the inside of the appliance, as this could
the device will be destroyed. Do not use any chemical cleaners, as this could

7.
Waste disposal
Devices labelled as such must not be disposed of with household waste.
Dispose of the product at the end of its service life in accordance with the
applicable legal regulations.

8. Open source licence information
The product contains software components that are licensed by the rights holders as free
software or open source software (hereinafter referred to as "OSS"). The corresponding
licences are enclosed with the product in printed form and/or can be accessed via a
graphical user interface. You can acquire rights of use directly from the rights holders to the
extent regulated therein. The open source licences take precedence over all other licence
conditions and contractual agreements with ABUS in relation to the corresponding OSS
software components contained in the product.
