5 Attaching the multifunctional flange

Risk of injury due to unexpected start
If power is supplied to the robot during maintenance or disassembly, parts can start running unexpectedly
and cause injuries.
► Observe the documentation for the system components.
► Disconnect the electrical power supply.

Use the M6 × 16 cylinder head screws (4×) (F) to attach the intermediate flange (G) to the robot (H).

Use the M6 × 25 cylinder head screws (4×) (K) to attach the RTM ABIx MT EasyTeach multifunctional

flange (E) to the intermediate flange (G) with a maximum tightening torque of 4 Nm.
Connect the connection cable (J) to the connector on the robot (I).

Insert the welding torch (A) into the torch mount (D) and secure in place.

Use the M5 × 20 cylinder head screws (4×) (B) to attach the clamp (C) with a maximum tightening

torque of 4 Nm.
