Hydro Cell Kit
How does a fuel cell work? How can you produce hydrogen with it? The Hydro Cell Kit provides

Important instructions on use of the Hydro Cell Kit
The Hydro Cell Kit is an extension kit. You will also need the Profi Oeco Tech kit (Item # 505284)
to operate the fuel cell and to perform the experiments in this instruction manual. Alternatively,
you can also use the Profi Oeco Power kit (Item # 57485).
Advice for supervising adults:
This box of building blocks is intended for children above the age of 10 only.
The instructions should enable a parent to determine whether the building blocks
are suitable for the child.
Safety Rules
Read these instructions before starting the experiment, follow them and keep them
to hand to refer to if necessary.
Keep the experiments kit safely out of reach of small children.
Do not put wires into the electrical outlet.
Warning: Do not remove the protective diode between the connections of the fuel
cell! It prevents irreparable damage to the fuel cell and overheating wires if a short
circuit occurs between the plus pole (red) and minus pole (black).
Do not short circuit the fuel cell (risk of explosion)!
Warning: Temperature changes on accessible surfaces due to (connection) errors
or improper changes can exceed the allowable limits!
The fuel cell may only be operated with a direct voltage up to 2 V. Never connect
other, e. g. 9 V fi schertechnik power supplies.
Do not short circuit the contact points of the fuel cell.
