• The sealing ring (4) sits in its groove under the rim of the lid. The safety bolt of the lid safety device
locks against the sealing ring from outside.
• The safety valve (5) on the bottom of the lid can be pushed inside easily and springs back.
• Is there any residue on the sealing ring or valves from previous use?
- If necessary, rinse the sealing ring once more.
- Remove residue on the valves using a brush or toothpick.
• Are any screws of the cooker or lid loose? If necessary, tighten with a suitable tool.
• Are any components damaged or bent? Only use the pressure cooker after such parts have been
replaced.
Filling quantities
When using the pressure cooker, observe the filling quantities as specified.

Steam and thereby liquids will escape during cooking. Whether you are using the steam insert or not,
always fill water up to the MIN marking. Cooking without water can cause permanent damage.
