Checking the charge status
of the battery
1.
Press the charge level indicator
button (8) on the battery (9).
The charge level of the battery is indic-
ated by illumination of the correspond-
ing LED lights.

2. Charge the battery (9) when only the
red LED on the level indicator (8) is illu-
minated.

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool be-
fore charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light for long periods and do not place
it on a radiator (max. 50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Connect the battery charger (13) to a
power outlet.
2. Push the battery (9) into the charging
slot of the battery charger (13).
3. After charging, disconnect the battery
charger (13) from the mains.
4. Pull the battery (9) out of the battery
charger (13).
Operation
Inserting and removing the
battery
 WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert the re-
chargeable battery into the device once
the device is fully prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incorrect
battery can damage the device and bat-
tery.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (9) along the guide in-
to the battery holder (7).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release (10)
on the battery (9).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery hold-
er (7).
Switching on and off
Switching on
1. Select the direction of rotation with the
rotation direction switch (5).
2. Select a maximum torque with the
torque adjustment ring (3).
3. Press and hold the On/off switch (4).
The LED work light (11) illuminates.
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off switch
(4).
2. Always wait until the power tool has
come to a complete stop before pla-
cing it down.
3. During work breaks: Set the rotation
direction switch (5) to the centre. This
precaution prevents the power tool
from starting unintentionally.
4. Remove the rechargeable battery from
the device if you are leaving the device
unattended or if you have finished
working.
