5.1 System configuration
Before the air-conditioning system can be
taken into operation, the following
parameters must be set on the internal
unit and the remote control.
Important:
On the internal unit, the switch (see Fig.
19) must be set for the individual
operating mode in each case.
Position 1 for cooling operation only
(ACW combined with CU)
Position 2 for cooling and heating
operation (ACW combined with CUR)

Certification of
First Commissioning
It is hereby confirmed that the split room air-conditioning system has been inspected and taken into operation in the due and proper
manner. The split room air-conditioning system is in a technically faultless condition.
The provisions of the accident prevention regulations, "Cooling systems, heat pumps, and cooling units" (VBG 20) have been respected.
The installation instructions and the instructions for use have been handed over.

Proceed as follows for the system
configuration of the remote control:
All information regarding the remote
control is to be acquired from the
Operating Instructions.
- Fit the batteries into the remote control
unit in accordance with the correct
polarity.
- Impose voltage on the system.
- Press the button for selecting operating
mode M, together with the button for
setting the time (located deeper down,
next to the batteries) for at least two
seconds (see Fig. 26).
- "1" and "id:un" will appear in the
display.

- This configuration must be transferred
to the internal unit. To do this, the Start
button and then the button for selecting
the air volume must be pushed for two
seconds.
If, by accident (repeated pressing of the
operating mode button), other symbols
appear in the display, these settings must
not be altered. The symbol desired will be
made to reappear in the display by
repeated pressing of the operational mode
button.
- The remote control will switch off
automatically, and configuration is
concluded (see Fig. 27).
