If the tightening torque is insufficient,
refrigerant will flow out at the connection
point. If it is too tight, the pipe flange
might be damaged.
3.6 Installing the outside unit
- The outside unit can also be secured to
the floor, as well as onto the wall
brackets provided as accessories.
- With the outside units, during cooling
and heating, there is the possibility that
condensation water may occur during
heating operation. This condensation
can be drained off via a trough which is
to be installed by the client.
3.7 Refrigerant line connection
on the outside unit
To connect the refrigerant line on the
outside unit, the flare nut and sealing flap
must be removed, as well as the protective
caps of the refrigerant lines. The
refrigerant lines can be screwed on at the
outside unit as shown in Fig. 16.
When connecting the refrigerants lines to
the outside unit, the torque values
indicated above are to be respected.
4 Filling and evacuating the
coolant circuit
Handling refrigerants is reserved for
the trained specialist. Refrigerant
must not be allowed to escape into the
environment.
Improper handling of coolant media may
lead to damage to the health of
personnel.
The safety datasheets provided by the
refrigerant manufacturers are to be
respected. When working with
refrigerant, protective gloves and goggles
are to be worn. The workplace must be
well ventilated. Smoking is prohibited.
The controller and limiter elements in the
unit must not be displaced under any
circumstances, as otherwise the safety of
the system cannot be guaranteed.
