The refrigerant lines of the internal
unit must not be kinked or
squashed. The bending radius (for
bending without tools) should be at least
100 mm.
Do not bend copper tube more than
three times at the same place. The crown
nuts on the tubes of the internal unit
should be removed shortly before the line
is connected.
3.4 Securing the internal unit
The internal unit is to be suspended in the
installation plate by means of the hook
(see Fig. 12).
Fit the lower part of the unit in the
position shown, with a spacer element (1),
as in Fig. 11. Open the front wall (2) and
the cover (3) for the purpose of
adjustments.
Introduce the electric lead into the groove
on the rear and draw it out on the front
(see Fig. 11). To do this, the cable clamp
(plastic insert beneath the connection
terminals) must be removed and
repositioned later with the cable. Establish
the electrical connection as shown on the
circuit diagram.
After wiring has been completed, remove
the spacer element.
In order to secure the unit to the wall, the
unit must be pressed upwards and against
the wall. This will allow the lower hooks of
the installation plate to be introduced into
the suspension eyes provided for this
purpose on the unit (see Fig. 13). To
remove the unit, simply reverse the
process.
After installation, fill the condensation
trough with water and test the draining
capacity and tightness of the condensation
line.
3.5 Installing the refrigerant lines
in the internal unit
When connecting the refrigerant lines, it is
essential that the screw connections be
kept clean. The refrigerant lines may not
be bent more than three times at the
same place.
1. Remove the flare nut with the sealing
cap on the internal unit. Nitrogen will
escape from the internal unit when this
is done. The protective caps of the split
lines may only be removed directly in
front of the connection.
2. Place the flare nut of the refrigerant line
on the flange of the internal unit. The
flange screw connection of the
refrigerant line should first be tightened
to finger tightness and then tightened
with a torque wrench in accordance
with the values indicated below
(see Fig. 14).
