Important Safety Instructions
WARNING!
Causes for damage and functional impairments
with possible consequential dangers
to life and limb!
Note that damage to or a defect in the system
can be very dangerous and can cause electric shocks
or injuries!
To avoid this, follow the instructions below:
• Make sure that all packaging and transport protec-
tion material has been removed before using the
appliance to avoid damage during operation, e.g. due
to burning or melting!
• To avoid damage to the power cable and associated haz-
ards, make sure that it is not bent, crushed or twisted
and cannot come into contact with hot surfaces, sharp
edges, etc. !
Do not pull the plug out of the socket by the cable, but
grasp it directly!
• When the hob is in use, heat and moisture are gener-
ated in its vicinity, which can cause long-term dam-
age to surfaces!
Make sure that the room is well ventilated!
Use the facilities provided for this or install an ex-
traction system (e.g. an extractor bonnet) if neces-
sary!
Do not install the hob behind a door or furniture
front!
