Requirements for the installation site / installation environment
• The kitchen should be dry and have effective ventilation
in accordance with the applicable technical regulations
and standards.
• The materials of adjacent and surrounding surfaces, as well as
adhesives used, must be fireproof / heat resistant up to 90°C
to exclude deformation of surfaces or detachment of coatings.
If you are not sure about this, plan at least 200 mm distance
between the edges of the appliance and materials in question
or protect them with a layer of fireproof material.
• If the hob is installed above a drawer, furniture compartment
or similar, a heat shield must be fitted on the underside
(see relevant section).
• For the hob to function properly, the installation method
must ensure good heat radiation.
• Wall surfaces around the cooking area should be easy to clean
(e.g. ceramic tiles).
• The hob must not be installed in the immediate vicinity of refrig-
erators or freezers, dishwashers or tumble dryers
to avoid malfunctions and unnecessarily high energy consump-
tion.
• The installation of the hob must ensure good heat radiation
to guarantee proper functioning.
