4.6 Reminder (Switch-off reminder mode)
E.g. for forgetful people, in addition to the auto switch-off
(see "Automatic functions"), the hob has a permanent
setting mode to remind the appliance to switch off.
When activated, a signal tone sounds each 10 minutes after
the start of operation
and operation is interrupted until the next key touch
or the hob is automatically switched off
after 10 minutes without operation.
Activating the Reminder
• To activate the mode, touch the timer key
in switched off state.
• When the timer display shows
the mode is activated.
Use the hob as usual.
• After 10 minutes of operation, a beep will sound for 1 minute,
to remind you that the hob is in operation.
Operation is interrupted and the timer display shows
and
alternately.
• To resume operation, touch any key within 10 minutes ex-
cept the On/Off key
• If no key is touched, the hob switches off automatically
after 10 minutes of operation stop.
• If operation is continued, a reminder signal will sound again
after every further 10 minutes of operation.
Then proceed as described above.
Note on the permanent setting
Activation of the reminder mode is not reset
by switching off the hob, nor by interrupting the power
supply.
To deactivate the setting, proceed as described
in the following section.
