4.3 General operation and setting
Switching on and preparing for cooking
• Touch the
key.
After switching on, a signal tone sounds
and all displays show
The hob is in standby mode.
• Now place suitable cookware centrally on the desired
cooking zone(s).
Make sure that the surface of the cooking zone
and the bottom of the cookware are clean and dry!
Setting the power level
• Touch the cooking zone selection key
of the cooking zone you want to use.
• While the corresponding cooking zone display
is flashing, set the desired power level (1-9)
for the selected cooking zone
by sliding your finger over the slider (1),
by tapping the desired power level position
on the slider directly (2)
or using the
and
the power level in individual steps (3).
Notes on the power setting:
• If no power level is selected for any cooking zone
within one minute after switching on,
the hob switches off automatically.
• During operation, the power level can be changed
at any time in the manner described.
