Operation, Setting and Use
Note on automatic cookware detection
The hob has an automatic recognition system for induc-
tion-compatible cookware
(For description see "Suitable cookware and its use").
When attempting to make settings for a cooking zone
on which no suitable cookware can be detected,
operation of this cooking zone will not start
and the icon
is shown alternating with the power
level on the cooking zone display.
This may be due to the following reasons:
• The cookware used is not suitable for induction.
• The cookware is not on the cooking zone you are
operating.
• The cookware is not in the centre of the cooking zone.
• The base diameter of the cookware used is too small.
After one minute without cookware detection,
the corresponding cooking zone is automatically deac-
tivated.
