UD --> S7/C7 (Download)
Before downloading, the target device must be properly prepared for the
procedure.
The S7/C7 CPU operating mode must be set to STOP. For information
on activating this operating mode, please consult the user manual for
the corresponding target device.
Before proceeding to download, the C7 OP must be set to MPI transfer
mode. For information on activating the MPI transfer mode, please
consult the user manual for the corresponding target device.
After a download has been successfully completed, the S7/C7 CPU
remains in STOP mode. The device must be manually switched to
RUN.
After the configuration has been successfully transferred, the C7 OP is
started. The OP starts up and displays a "stand-by" status message.
Warning
!
If you abort the downloading of an OP configuration to a
C7-626, then the target device will lose its MPI
configuration and will no longer be able to be operated
in the CPU section.
The C7-626 will then need to have its basic parameters
reassigned via the serial interface. This new assignment
of basic parameters cannot be carried out with the
UD 700.
After this function has been activated, no further operator intervention is
required during subsequent error-free processing of the transfer.
