Manual
In addition, parameters must be assigned to the HSA (Highest Station
Address) of the MPI bus. The following settings are available:
HSA = 15 | 31 | 63 | 126
The HSA can only be set at a lower value if the current MPI addresses for
the UD 700, OP, and CPU are less than or equal to the lower value of the
HSA.
Target Device
This setting determines which target device is to be emulated by the
UD 700. The UD 700 uses this setting internally to derive an OP type and a
CPU type. In addition, messages applying to the configuration tools based
on the setting of the target device are generated here.
The possible types are: CPU 312 IFM, CPU 314 IFM, C7-621,
C7-623, C7-624, C7-626
The C7-623 is set as the default device.
Note
The CPU and OP sections of the UD 700 memory must be deleted before
changing the target device type.
CPU Memory
This option determines which blocks are deleted in the target CPU by the
UD 700 before a download (UD --> S7/C7).
Clear before download (default setting)
Before downloading, all S7 user blocks in the target CPU are deleted.
If system data blocks (SFBs) are already loaded in the UD 700, all
system data blocks in the target CPU are also deleted.
Do not clear
Before downloading, only those S7 user blocks loaded in the UD 700
are deleted from the target CPU. System data blocks in the target CPU
are not deleted. If system data blocks are already loaded in the UD 700,
the download will be rejected and the error message "SBDs loaded in
UD" displayed.
