3.2 UD 700 Connected to PG/PC (PG/PC <--> UD)
In this operating mode, the UD 700 behaves as an MPI network node that is
connected via a PC or TS adapter to the programming device (PG) or PC.
Depending on the setting of the "Target Device" parameter, an S7/C7 CPU
and a C7 OP are connected to this MPI network. The MPI addresses used to
address these devices are entered in the SETUP menu of the UD 700.
When operating in this mode, the UD 700 emulates the load memory and
program memory of the S7/C7 CPU and the C7 OP. During this process the
contents of the S7 blocks or the OP configuration are not checked for errors
in content or syntax.
