UD 700
Functions
Transfer of an OP configuration from the programming device (PG) to
the UD 700. The OP configuration is then downloaded from the
UD 700 to the target OP of a C7-62X. (Uploading an OP configuration
is not supported.)
OP Configuration
PG/PC
Transfer of an S7 user program with or without system data blocks
(SDBs) from the programming device to the UD 700. The S7 user
program is then downloaded from the UD 700 to the target device
CPU.
S7 User Program
PG/PC
and System Data Blocks
Upload of an S7 user program with system data blocks (SDBs) from
the target device CPU to the UD 700. The complete S7 user program
with system data blocks is then transferred from the UD 700 to the
programming device. (Uploading an S7 user program with system data
blocks allows it to be analyzed on the programming device or PC. You
cannot upload directly from the UD 700 to a target device CPU.)

Performance Characteristics
Downloads or uploads can be made to freely set MPI addresses.
Operating parameters such as language selection, power-on function,
MPI addresses, and the location of the version information can be set.
Operator prompting is available in 5 languages (English, German,
French, Spanish, and Italian).
Display of error messages (error message texts or error codes).
Communication between a programming device or PC and the UD 700
via modem connections (initiated from the programming device).
2 Mbytes of FLASH memory are available.
