Product Description
The UD 700 allows S7 user programs to be downloaded to SIMATIC
S7-300 CPUs (CPU 312 IFM, CPU 314 IFM) or S7 user programs and/or
OP configurations to be downloaded to SIMATIC C7 automation stations
(C7-62x) without using a programming device (PG).

UD 700
The UD 700 provides users of S7 or C7 with the following advantages:
No local programming device or PC is needed to load software or
configurations.
The device is very easy to operate.
Update devices are available world-wide.
No power supply unit or backup battery is needed for long-term
archiving of programs and configurations.
The device can be exchanged on location without a programming
device or PC.
Data can be loaded into or read out from the UD 700 via a modem
connection.
