• Do not connect the Digital Voice Recorder to the USB port of a
PC and to the telephone receiver at the same time.
Otherwise, this involves damaging of the telephone and/or
the USB port!
• If you would like to record from an external audio source, make
sure that the audio signal is not too loud. Otherwise, the record-
ing might have overshooting sound and be useless.
• The audio files stored in the flash memory are preserved even
after a battery replacement.
• The maximum recording time of approx. 8h 51min in SP mode or
16h 28min in LP mode might slightly change depending on the
recorded audio signal.
This is due to the data compression of the audio signal occurring
during recording.
• The higher the quality of the batteries being used, the longer is
the operating time. Always have an extra set of batteries when
recording important dictates!
• Before recording a telephone conversation, you have to
inform your telephone partner about the recording!
You are only allowed to record the conversation if your tele-
phone partner agrees!
• If you use the enclosed telephone adapter and there is no free-
line signal, try and exchange the two Western cables connected
to the telephone adapter.
