4. LEVEL 2 - CODE-LOCK

General points:
- The ex-factory code-lock setting is „not activated"
- Always keep a written note of any changes you make in the code
combination
- If three incorrect attempts are made to enter the code, all functions are
locked and „LOC" appears on the left-hand display
machine off and on, and enter the correct code.
Advantages of the code-lock:
- Only authorised personnel have access to the welding machine
- Anti-theft device, as the machie cannot be used unless the code is
entered

4.1 ENTERING THE CURRENT CODE

- If the code is activated, you must enter the current code before you can
make any changes to the code

4.2 ACTIVATION / DEACTIVATION OF CODE

- You can activate (turn on) and deactivate (turn off) the code by pressing
the torch trigger

- If you have deactivated the code, the next two points („Entering the cycles", chapter 4.3, and „Entering the new code", chapter 4.4) will be bypassed
and you will be taken directly to chapter 4.5 „Saving the code".

Activation / deactivation of code
The code can be (turned on) and deactivated (turned off) with
the torch trigger
To exit:
- Continue to next menu by pressing function button
Torch trigger recognition
To enter Level 2:
- Switch on the machine, pressing function button
- When „- - -", appears on the displays, keep pressing the function button
and press the torch trigger until „P 2" appears on the left-hand display
- Release function button
- The code is factory-set to „321", i.e. before you can change the code for
the first time, you must use the newly-set code combination.
- When dispatched from the factory, the code is deactivated
