15. Either connect a power supply unit or use the
power supply from the online controller.

16. Connect the IO Controller the RS485 bus of the on-
line controller (see manual for wall and authoriza-
tion readers).
Display shows RS-485 address (a=1, b=2) after

start-up. If an existing connection is in place, the IP
address is also displayed.
The device itself is maintenance-free.
NOTE
Maintenance of electric strikes
Different electric strikes require different maintenance
measures.
Maintain electric strikes in accordance with the

manufacturer's specifications.

Read and write operations are acknowledged with a
display message, e.g. credential updated.
Repeat the read/write process if error messages such
as unknown credential number appear. If error
messages persist, inform the administrator.
