7. Installation of authorisation reader
2.1 with display/keypad

IMPORTANT
Unique addresses on the RS485 bus
Each reader/IO board combination on the RS485 bus
must be clearly addressed.
1. Do not assign an address twice.
2. Use a maximum of two reader/IO boards per
RS-485 bus.
If both reader and IO board are equipped with a DIP

switch, the DIP switch of the IO board has priority.
7. Reconnect the reader module.

8. Insert the supplied key lock.
9. Hook the reader module onto the top of the wall
frame.

10. Close the lid.
Catch lugs engage audibly.

11. Lock the key lock.
12. On the IO controller supplied, use the jumper next
to the relay to set whether the relay contact should
be open or closed in idle state.

13. Mount the supplied IO Controller a protected loca-
tion, e.g. with the optionally available Hensel box
(item no. 3050121300).

14. Connect the reader cables to the IO Controller.
