5.5 Air purge air connection
Air purge offers the possibility of protecting the cavity in the
rotary feed-through against external effects using air
overpressure. The effectiveness of the protection is heavily
dependent on local conditions.
NOTE
This connection constitutes a leak that constantly consumes air.
Requirements for compressed air quality: ISO 8573-1:7:4:2
Recommended overpressure: p = 0.2 bar
Only in combination with IP54 seal kit
