DESEMBALAJE
1. Retire el material de embalaje de la unidad.
NOTA: Guarde todo el material de embalaje hasta que esté completamente
satisfecho de que todas las partes de la unidad están funcionando correctamente,
y solo en el caso de que la unidad requiera servicio en el futuro.
2. Asegúrese de haber ubicado el mando a distancia antes de guardar el embalaje.
3. Retire la bolsa de plástico que cubre la unidad.
4. Retire la cubierta plástica de protección de la clavija de 2 contactos CA.
5. Quite la brida del cable de CA y desate la antena de cable en la parte trasera de la unidad.
6. Levante la tapa del grabador y quite el material de embalaje de poliestireno del plato.
7. Retire la brida negra del brazo del tocadiscos.
8. Retire la cubierta protectora de la aguja fonográfica de color blanco, tirando con delicadeza de la misma hacia
la parte delantera de la unidad.
Aguja fonográfica
Se suministra una aguja fonográfica de zafiro integrada en el brazo del tocadiscos, es adecuada para reproducir
discos en 3 velocidades (331/3/45/78 rpm). Con el fabricante y en algunos distribuidores se encuentran disponibles
una aguja fonográfica universal de repuesto y una aguja fonográfica separada para reproducir discos de 78 rpm.
Extracción/Colocación de la aguja fonográfica
Para quitar la aguja fonográfica del brazo del tocadiscos, sujete el cabezal del
brazo del tocadiscos de forma estable mientras sujeta el soporte de la aguja
fonográfica de plástico con dos dedos, enseguida tire hacia usted en línea recta
el soporte de la aguja fonográfica de color rojo y fuera del cartucho de plata, tal
como se muestra en el diagrama. Para volver a colocar la aguja, sujete ambos
lados del soporte de la aguja fonográfica de plástico rojo, asegurándose de que
la aguja esté orientada hacia abajo. Empuje suavemente la parte posterior del
soporte de la aguja fonográfica en ángulo contra el cartucho de plata en el extremo
del BRAZO DEL TOCADISCOS hasta que esté seguro de que está instalado
firmemente. Si es necesario, vuelva a colocar la cubierta de protección de la aguja.
AVISOS:
· Siempre manipule la aguja fonográfica con cuidado ya que la punta de la aguja de zafiro se puede dañar fácilmente.
· Cuando se transporte el plato se aconseja que vuelva a colocar la cubierta protectora blanca de la aguja y el
clip de sujeción del brazo hasta que se vaya a usar nuevamente la unidad.
· Cuando quite o vuelva a colocar la aguja, siempre tenga cuidado de no ejercer mucha presión sobre el soporte
de la aguja fonográfica y en el cartucho de plata del brazo del tocadiscos para evitar posibles daños en los mismos.
FUENTE DE ALIMENTACIÓN
Esta unidad funciona con una corriente de 230 V CA.
AVISOS:
a) Observaciones sobre las DEE: En caso de producirse un funcionamiento incorrecto debido a las descargas
electroestáticas, podría ser necesario reiniciar el producto para reanudar la operación normal (se puede requerir
que se vuelva a conectar en la fuente de alimentación).
b) Transitorios eléctricos rápidos (Ráfagas): En caso de producirse un funcionamiento incorrecto debido a los
transitorios eléctricos rápidos (ráfaga), simplemente reinicie el producto para reanudar la operación normal
(se puede requerir que se vuelva a conectar en la fuente de alimentación).
CONFIGURACIÓN
Desenrolle el cable de alimentación de CA en la parte trasera de la unidad e inserte la clavija de 2 contactos en
una toma de corriente de 230 V CA.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA RADIO
1. Desate la ANTENA DE CABLE FM y permita que cuelgue en línea recta para tener una recepción óptima de
FM. No conecte la antena FM a una antena exterior.
2. Encienda la unidad girando el INTERRUPTOR DE ENCENDIDO-APAGADO/CONTROL DE VOLUMEN hacia
la posición de ENCENDIDO y gire el volumen de sonido a la posición intermedia.
3. Ajuste el interruptor de función en el modo RADIO.
4. Deslice el interruptor de banda a la banda deseada – AM (= MW) o FM o FM.ST*.
5. Seleccione la estación de radio deseada girando la PERILLA DE SINTONIZACIÓN.
6. Ajuste el volumen nuevamente si es necesario.
NOTA: *Si la recepción de FM estéreo no es buena, es mejor cambiar a FM Mono.
ANTENA
Para la recepción de FM, la unidad cuenta con UNA ANTENA DE CABLE en la parte posterior de la misma.
Mueva el cable hasta que la recepción de la radio sea clara y no tenga interferencia. Si tiene problemas para
sintonizar una estación FM, mueva la antena FM de alambre para tener una mejore recepción.
PRECAUCIÓN: La ANTENA FM externa no debe estar conectada a una antena exterior.
Para la recepción de AM (= MW), la unidad está equipada con una antena de ferrita integrada direccional. Gire
el equipo para encontrar la posición en la que se obtenga la mejor recepción.

TURNTABLE OPERATION
Preparing to use the Turntable
1. Lift up the Record Player Lid, untwist and remove the black tie-wrap securing the TONE ARM.
2. Remove any packing materials.
3. Remove the white protective NEEDLE COVER by gently pulling it off the red stylus holder towards the front
of the unit. Keep this safe and re-fit to the stylus in case the unit needs transporting to a different location.
4. Release the TONE ARM HOLD-DOWN CLIP by gently pushing this to the right. This will unlock the tone arm
from its ARM REST. Re-lock the hold-down clip when moving the unit to another location.
PLAYING A RECORD
1. Switch the unit ON by turning the power ON-OFF SWITCH/VOLUME CONTROL switch to the ON position.
2. Turn the VOLUME control to mid-range position.
3. Slide the FUNCTION Switch to PHONO mode.
4. Set the SPEED CONTROL SWITCH to the correct speed (33 1 / 3 , 45 or 78 rpm) required for the selected record.
5. Use the CUE LEVER to raise the tone arm off its rest. Move the tone arm gently to the right until a 'click' is
heard, the turntable should start rotating.
6. Move the Tone Arm towards the record and use the cue lever to lower it onto the point where you want the
record to start playing.
7. At the end of the record, the TONE ARM will stop automatically. Lift the Tone Arm and return it manually to
the TONE ARM REST.
ACCESSORY SUPPLIED - Spindle Adaptor for 45 rpm records
To play a 45rpm record with the centre clip missing, remove the adaptor from the record
player deck by placing thumb & forefinger in the recesses and pulling it upwards, then
place it on the Turntable Spindle. The record can then be placed on the turntable.
CD PLAYER OPERATION
Playing a CD
1. Switch the unit ON by turning the power ON-OFF SWITCH/VOLUME CONTROL switch to the ON position
and turn the Sound Volume to mid-range position.
2. Slide the FUNCTION Switch to CD mode.
3. Press CD OPEN / CLOSE / to open the CD Compartment.
4. Insert a pre-recorded compact disc with the printed side facing up. Press CD OPEN / CLOSE /
to close the compartment, " READ " is displayed as the CD player scans the contents of the disc.
5. Track no. 1 will start playing back automatically after the CD Player has finished reading the contents of the disc.
6. Press FORWARD SKIP / or BACKWARD SKIP /
appears on the display.
7. Press or the " STOP/SD/USB " key (marked with a red dot) to stop playback.
8. Press or the " PLAY/PAUSE " key (marked with a green dot) to resume play or pause the music.
MP3-CD Disc Playback – by Remote Control
1. Insert an MP3-CD format disc. Press CD OPEN / CLOSE /
is displayed as the CD Player scans the contents of the disc.
2. Track no. 1 in the Root Folder (Folder 1) will start playing back automatically after the MP3-CD disc contents
has been read.
3. Press FORWARD SKIP / or BACKWARD SKIP /
appears on the display.
4. Press STOP / to stop playback.
