Furthermore, there is an electrolyte inlet and outlet to allow electrolyte to flow through
the cell.
The electrolyte inlet is divided into a
total of six small nozzles. Three point
to the counter electrode, the other
three to the working electrode. The
electrolyte outlet is located at the top
of the cell and is provided with a cavity
(dome) that ensures the removal of
gas bubbles originating from the
electro-chemical reaction inside the
cell. Where glass bubbles adhere,
there can be no electrolyte. The
reaction surface is shadowed. Local
elements can develop. Three Haber-
Luggin capillaries are integrated at
half height in the immediate vicinity of
the working electrode.
