6.1. Changing gear

As well as the electric pedal assist feature, the e-bike is fitted with gears. You can easily change
gears using the twist shifter on the right handgrip (see figure 31A).
Ҍ Turn the twist shifter 6 towards you (counterclockwise) to shift down in gear.
Ҍ Turn the twist shifter 6 away from you (clockwise) to shift up in gear.
You can shift gears while stationary or while cycling.

If your e-bike is equipped with automatic gears, then you will not have a gear shifting knob on
the right-hand handlebar and you set the pedalling rate with the Enviolo button (see figure 31B).
You can read off the pedalling rate in the Enviolo app. The bike automatically switches gear based
on this pedalling rate.
