The Electrical Connection of Tach Sensors
Regardless of the information given on page 19 of the installation and operating instructions, the
following now applies to the connection of tach sensors:

Ignition Coil
Connection of a generator type sensor (page 15) will no longer be possible.
When a sensor with insulated return is used, the negative (-) terminal of the sensor will have to be
linked with terminal 27 of the terminal strip.
Important:
When the start and stop function will be utilized, a power supply other than the
starter battery is required for VDO Logic Combi; for example, a separate battery that
navigation instruments are powered by.
