If the air in the hydraulic system is not due to the transportation, it may have
the following causes:
The cutting table has been moved forward. The FORWARD knob has
not been used.
This may have changed the deflection of the pressure gauge, or
resulted in leaking hose connections.
The oil reservoir is empty.
This is due to a leakage which must be found before the reservoir is
filled.
The washers in the damping cylinder are worn. When changing them it
should be noticed that the plunger shaft has floating suspension which
should be maintained when remounting.
Disconnect Accutom-2 from the mains
by taking out the plug from the socket.
The belt pulleys of Accutom-2 have been designed so that it is possible to
change the gear ratio between 1:1 and 3:1. At the gear ratio 3:1 both V-
belts are used, but at the gear ratio 1:1 the O-belt is used (See also fig. 8).
Change of the gear ratio is done as follows:
Switch off the Accutom from the mains and remove the motor screen.
Force the belt over the edge of the groove in the direction in which the
belt is to be moved, and at the same time turn the spindle round so that
the belt moves.
In this way the belts are moved one by one.
Check the belt tightening (sect. 8.4).
Mount the motor screen.
