Remove the screws (2,3/Fig. 28) from the safety collar (1/Fig. 28). Store them in a safe place.
NOTE:
It is best to use a screwdriver with a magnetic tip to loosen the screws.

Push up the safety collar (1/Fig. 28) until it rests on the plastic cover and hold it in this position.

Hold the safety collar (1/Fig. 28) to ensure that it will not fall off the spring arm.

Remove the retaining clip (4/Fig. 28) from its slot Fig. 28 and remove the protective cap (5/Fig. 28)
from the receptacle (6/Fig. 28).

Insert the mounting pin/connecting part of the adaptable element (12/Fig. 28) into the receptacle

Remove the safety spring (8/Fig. 28) from your shipping carton and insert it, long end

Secure the safety spring (8/Fig. 28) under the retaining clip (4/Fig. 28).

Insert and tighten the screw (3/Fig. 28).

The following step is very important for the long-term performance of the system!

Apply Loctite
270 (included in package) to the set screw (2/Fig. 28) and screw it into the safety

a 90° rotation.
10.2.9
Remove the plastic plugs (9/Fig. 28) from your shipping carton and insert them into the drill
holes (10/Fig. 28) on the sides of the safety collar (1/Fig. 28).
