Remove the screws (2,3/Fig. 25) from the safety collar (1/Fig. 25). Store them in a safe place.
NOTE:
It is best to use a screwdriver with a magnetic tip to loosen the screws.

Push up the safety collar (1/Fig. 25) until it rests on the plastic cover and hold it in this position.

Hold the safety collar (1/Fig. 25) to ensure that it will not fall off the spring arm.
10.1.3
Remove the retaining clip (4/Fig. 25) from its slot Fig. 25 and remove the protective cap (5/Fig. 25)
from the receptacle (6/Fig. 25).
NOTE:
The eyehole of the safety pin/connecting part (12/Fig. 25) must line up with the drill holes
(10,11/Fig. 25) to allow the insertion of the straight pin (7/Fig. 25).

Insert the safety pin/connecting part of the adaptable element (12/Fig. 25) into the receptacle

Position the safety collar (1/Fig. 25) until the drill holes (10/Fig. 25) align with the holes (11/Fig. 25)
in the receptacle.

Insert the straight pin enclosed (7/Fig. 25) into the drill hole. If correctly installed, the safety
collar (1/Fig. 25) can now slide freely downward.

Remove the safety spring (8/Fig. 25) from your shipping carton and insert it, long end
NOTE:

Secure the safety spring (8/Fig. 25) under the retaining clip (4/Fig. 25).
10.1.10 Remove the plastic plugs (9/Fig. 25) from your shipping carton and insert them into the drill
holes (10/Fig. 25) on the sides of the safety collar (1/Fig. 25).
