Electrical connection
Load cells can be connected either to carrier‐frequency‐amplifiers or DC‐ampli
fiers.
CAUTION
Electric and magnetic fields often cause interference voltages that are coupled
into the measurement circuit.
Therefore:
S Use only shielded, low-capacitance measurement cables. Measurement
cables from HBM
requirements.
S Do not route these measurement cables in parallel to power and control
lines. If this is not possible, protect the measurement cable (e.g. by means
of steel‐sheathed pipes).
S Avoid the leakage fields of transformers, motors and contactors.
Load cells can be connected electrically in parallel by connecting up the same
color wire ends of the load cell connection cables. The output signal will then
be the mean value of the individual output signals.

- CABA1 (cable reel, order no. 1-CABA1/20 = 20 m or 1-CABA1/100 = 100 m long), gray
- CABE2 (cable reel, order no. 1-CABE2/20 = 20 m or 1-CABE2/100 = 100 m long), blue
- CABT1 (cable reel, order no. 1-CABT1/50 = 50 m or 1-CABT1/200 = 200 m long), red, TPE
- CABM1 (cable reel, order no. 1-CABM1/200 = 200 m, braided wire over TPE
