The front and rear press segments must be offset
(see Fig. 7).
4 Fold the pipe seal from the outside of the building o-
ver the already laid media line and close the press
segments again (see Fig. 11).
5 Reassemble the screw, slide ring and nut. (see Fig.:
11).
6 Push the pipe seal into the core drill hole/wall sleeve
(see Fig. 8).
Media lines must be free of any continuous lon-
gitudinal grooves or damage in the sealing area.
(If necessary, move the media lines forward or
backward a little until no more longitudinal groo-
ves are visible).
► The pipe seal is pressed evenly as soon as the rubber
can be seen and felt in all inspection openings (see
Fig. 8).
7 Tighten screws (internal hex screws) cross-wise and
gradually with max. of 5 turns each until torque is
reached (see Table 1) and the rubber emerges evenly
from all control openings (see Fig.: 8).

from the inside of the building
Assembly is carried out as in Chapter 9, work steps 1 to 5,
and only from the inside of the building.
1 Only push the pipe seal in from the inside of the buil-
ding until the outer edge is flush with the core drill
hole/wall sleeve (see Fig. 9).
Media lines must be free of any continuous lon-
gitudinal grooves or damage in the sealing area.
(If necessary, move the media lines forward or
backward a little until no more longitudinal groo-
ves are visible).

11 Mount the WRD sealing set

1 Check the diameters of the concrete core dril-
lings/conduit, press seal, split ISO ring and corrugated
cable duct (see Fig.: 12).

2 Compare the labelled ring clips provided in pairs with
the cable duct manufacturer/diameter, place in the
corrugated pipe profile and engage by pressing gently
(click) (see Fig.: 13).

The number of ring clips can vary depending on
cable duct manufacturer.
IMPORTANT!
The press seal of the corrugated pipe sealing set
WRD must not be split, as otherwise leak-
tightness cannot be guaranteed.
3 The closed press seal is pushed from the outside of
the building over the corrugated cable duct until the
ring clips are fully covered and finish flush with the
outside wall (see Fig.: 14).

4 Tighten screws cross-wise and step-by-step with a
maximum of five rotations in each case until the tor-
que is reached (see table 3) (see Fig.: 15).
► The pipe sealing is pressed evenly as soon as the rub-
ber can be seen and felt in all inspection openings
(see Fig.: 15). Does not apply to WRD sealing sets
with external hex bolts!

5 From the inside of the building, the split ISO ring is
evenly pushed into the wall opening over the
corrugated cable duct until it finishes flush with the
wall opening (see Fig.: 16).
