PROGRAMS WITHOUT A TIME LIMIT
Those wanting greater control over temperature selection, BIOSEC also of-
fers programs t1 to t5, which ensure a working temperature of between 20°C
and 60°C.
Programs t1 to t5 function intelligently, alternating the temperature of oper-
ation with intervals of cold ventilation to ensure the best result. In addition,
they do not have time limits: the BIOSEC must be stopped when the required
drying level is reached or set the timer as in the relevant section (see page
30).
ADVANCED FUNCTIONS: for greater temperature control
Programs P7, t1 and t5 can be set for customised temperature reg-
ulation, with three different ventilation modes.
- P7 For a constantly slow ventilation and therefore increased energy sav-
ings and less air movement, suitable for even the lightest materials such as
herbs, flowers and leaf products.
- t1 For constant maximum ventilation. This program keeps the temperature
less than 25 degrees above room temperature at all times, even if it has
been set higher. Suitable for very watery products.
- t5 For automatically modulated ventilation according to room tempera-
ture and the temperature that is set. Valid for most products.
How to use the advanced function:
Choose a program from among P7, t1 and t5. Start it as normal then press
the two SET and ON/OFF KEYS at the same time for 5 seconds, until a flashing
number appears, which is the working temperature. Adjust the temperature
by pressing the SET key repeatedly to increase it or the ON/OFF key to de-
crease it, until the desired temperature is displayed.
Once the desired temperature is displayed, wait a few second without press-
ing anything: BIOSEC will memorise this temperature as a new program tar-
get, to follow indefinitely unless a timer is set (see page 30).
The temperature set in this way is reset to the factory settings when the elec-
trical power supply is interrupted.
However, remember that the air temperature is not the same as that of the
product itself, which always remains lower than this, even by around ten
degrees.
