FIRST-TIME USE OF BIOSEC

GETTING STARTED

Wash the tunnel and baskets thoroughly before first using the BIOSEC.
Do not under any circumstances remove the protection from the electrical
parts of the motor unit.
Do not use water directly on the appliance or close to it.
Do not submerge the thermal ventilation unit.
For any operation, unplug the power cable from the electrical socket.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The BIOSEC does not require any special care: it is advisable not to use abra-
sive cloths or equipment to clean it, nor equipment that might compromise
its appearance, or solvents on the plastic parts.
A damp cloth with water and/or a neutral detergent is recommended.
The baskets can be washed with even very hot water and detergent, either
by hand or in a dishwasher.
Plastic baskets should be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher to avoid
warping due to heat.
Avoid air drying for the plastic baskets.
The door closure and tunnels should be washed by hand.
From time to time, check that the suction grille and air outlet are free from
obstructions, fibres or fluff that might impede normal air circulation.
