Malfunctions and troubleshooting

Malfunction

Cause
Control unit is
Set the
not switched on
to "I"
Power connection not Connect the control unit to the
established mains power supply
Incorrect operating voltage Check the mains voltage
Faulty fuse Replace the fuse
Motor not switched on Switch on the motor using the
treadplate
Motor not connected Connect the motor cable to the
control unit
Handpiece or contra angle Press the handpiece firmly onto
not correctly assembled the electronic motor until it
clicks into position and check
that it is secure by moving it
slightly in the opposite direction.
Peristaltic pump not Switch on the peristaltic pump
switched on
Tubing set incorrectly Insert tubing set correctly (note
inserted the direction)
Tubing set clogged/crusted Replace the tubing set
matter visible
Bottle with sodium chloride Open the ventilation filter at the
solution not ventilated drip chamber
Tubing set is dripping Replace the tubing set
Roller clamp of tubing Open roller clamp all the way
set is closed
Pedal not connected Connect the pedal to the control
unit
