S Do not route the measurement cables parallel to power lines and control
circuits. If this cannot be avoided, protect the measurement cable with steel
conduits, for example.
S Avoid stray fields from transformers, motors and contact switches.
S Connect all the devices in the measuring chain to the same protective
conductor.
S Always connect the cable shield extensively to the connector housing.
